Can I change account classification from 'credit card' to 'loan'? options under the 'Type' drop down under the account are :personal, business, student, or other?

I have already tried the solution suggested in answers to similar questions and that doesn't work.  It seems that the classification happens prior to any set up that I am able to do

There may be cases where this option is not available; either the account type you want doesn't show, or the dropdown isn't there at all. Unfortunately in this case, you will need to contact support as Mint is not reading the account data correctly.
