I can't tie my monthly payments to a goal. I can set up a budget for my monthly payments, but then it gets duplicated with the goal. Are there any workarounds for this?

I currently have a few goals (pay off credit card, pay off student loans, contribute to retirement).  When setting up my monthly budgets, I can account for this money, but because i have a goal set up for it as well, it is double counting - is there any way to create a spend category called "goals" and have it tie out?

I agree with Aaron's suggestion.  Can't spending goals be attached to budget line items just like savings goals can be attached to specific accounts?  There doesn't seem to be a purpose for "paying off loan" goals if when you use it, it will make you go over your budget (if, for example, the budget is set for the minimum and the goal is set to pay it off sooner), but then when you increase the budget to show the correct amount you are paying to pay off the loan sooner, it ends up double counting for both the budgeted amount and the goal amount.  Can this be an improvement available in the future?  Until then, I don't see a better solution than just using the goal to set up a payment plan and then deleting it so it doesn't double count.
