American Express Wont Update

It has not updated since Tuesday, December 15th.  I tried calling American Express and they said there are no holds on my account.  I also tried updating my username and password in Mint.  It doesn't seem to work.

Please help..  Thanks!


According to American Express Bank, FSB (called and spoke with technical support today), Mint and other "direct connect" financial management software is not supported by their site.  They said it might work periodically, but in general their customer agreement does not allow for the use of any "direct connect" software.  They suggest using a manual download of PDF statements and a manual upload to the financial management software going forward.

  4. Be a good listener. When people post very general questions, take a second to try to understand what they're really looking for. Then, provide a response that guides them to the best possible outcome.
  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
