Issue with Mint connecting to TCF Bank account, causes the account to get locked out due to to Mint not answering the security question during syncing
Every month or two, when I log into Mint, I see that my TCF accounts are no longer syncing. When I go to my banking website, I'm not able to log into my account. I get an error that I "have exceeded the maximum number of attempts to answer your security questions."
I believe this error is due to Mint trying to sync with my bank, but the bank is asking a security question and Mint doesn't know or isn't answering the question correctly. This is pretty frustrating, since I then have to call up my bank and get them to reset my account, which wastes quite a bit of my time, especially when this is happening repeatedly.
