I now have 1000's of duplicate transactions polluting my entire mint history. Am I really expected to manually mark thousands of transactions as duplicate?
I received a notice that I was over budget in several budget items this morning and when I started looking into it, it was duplicate transactions. So I started marking them as Duplicate then I saw it was nearly every transaction for the month, then I realized it was for my entire mint history (~8 months) which is 1000s of transactions. Am I really expected to mark all of these as duplicate? Is this something I can expect to be cleared up by Mint? If I really take the time to mark 1000s of transactions as duplicate how do I now it will not happen again next week? I guess I will abandon Mint and go with a combination of YNAB and Personal Capital. Have been using both in parallel and the combination seems to be a good replacement. Was using Quicken (since 1993) but since they are abandoning that had to find a replacement, thought Mint was it but this is unacceptable and has destroyed my confidence. Look into YNAB and Personal Capital
