Went online on Zillow to claim my property.  I already had the property added on mint. The estimate on Zillow.com vs mint and are not the same. there is $40k difference. Why?

Zillow provides an API to bring across the data to Mint, and it's possible there's a problem with that.  For me personally, on Zillow, I found my property twice (one looked like it was miles away in another county), so Zillow's own data (in my experience) is pretty spotty itself.  I also didn't like Zillow's Zestimate amount (more than 20% lower than a recent appraisal done for a completed refinance), so I've always simply overridden that value anyway.  If you live in the property, you'll probably have a better feel for the value yourself.  If it's investment property, I get that you'd want an independent, continually updating value though.

It's possible that Zillow only provides a certain cadence to their API data updates (say once per week or month), so you might track the automated Zillow Zestimate in Mint versus the Zestimate directly on Zillow for a while to see if it's just some timing issue.  If you want to file some ticket, I'd suggest doing it with Zillow directly as I doubt Mint has much control over the data.
