Any updates? This is really a huge drag and many won't be able to use MINT due to this issue. Thank you.
I agree. I know RBC changed its site but this needs to get fixed. Thanks!
Mint tech support just suggested that I contact RBC and ask them how to fix this. Seriously? Why on earth would RBC lift a finger to fix a problem with an Intuit product? Their website is functioning just fine...
I actually have contacted RBC to see if there was any issue on their side, they say there is not
Hi folks,
Just to confirm, I did inquire with RBC and they responded with the following:
--
Hello M,
My name is Jesse and I've received your message with regards to having issues with Mint.
I can confirm that Mint does screen scraping and since we changed the layout of the screen, their method of obtaining information will fail until they make changes to read the new screen. My best advice to you would be to verify with them if a resolution is available.
If you require further assistance simply respond to this message, or alternatively you can call 1-800-769-2553 anytime between 7am-11pm EST.
I got the same response. They must have lots of people inquiring about this. MINT - can you please advise????
+1 here, Mint tech support keeps trying to suggest I solve the message that their login didn't provide a verification question and then everything will work
Same thing happens to me ... I provide the verification questions but it doesnt solve the problem nor does it work
+1 Please fix this problem ASAP, Mint. RBC's updates aren't anything out of the ordinary, I'd expect your team to be able to figure this one out.
+1 please fix asap. This screws up all my banking. Customer support was no help at all.
Please fix!
This problem has occurred since RBC Bank changed their page appearance. This should be an easy fix.......yes that comment was directed to you MINT!
I called RBC support and they stated they notified Mint of the changes being to their site. Mint this sounds like the ball is in your court. Please assist.
Mint sustaining development department, please flag this as needing attention. Mint new features department, can you please work with the financial institutions to come up with an API that is (a) read-only, since giving you write access to my finances is scary as hell, (b) doesn't require that I give you my username and password in plaintext to authenticate and (c) doesn't break if the financial institution makes UI changes.
"My name is Mike and I've received your message with regards to Mint not connecting to your RBC Bank online banking.
Mint does screenscraping and since we changed the layout of the screen, their method of obtaining information will fail until they make changes to read the new screen. I'm sorry, this is something that Mint.com will need to update on their systems.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may be causing."
Thanks for considering!
Hey wow. Okay. Yes, I am one of many, it seems, who contacted RBC when their website changed asking why Mint would no longer connect and got the same response. I rely on Mint daily for budgeting, please work with the bank to update your data retrieval, Mint! Thanks!
Mint folks, can you please provide an update on this? How long is it likely to take you to implement a fix?
still waiting..........
+1 ... been waiting patiently for the fix... but my patience is wearing thin
Is it just me, or some Mint seem to have given up on this issue completely? I haven't received any responses from them since my initial communication a week ago.
Any update Mint?
Any updates on this?
This is driving me up the wall too. Do you have any new information to share with us? We're going on a couple of weeks now...
Mint seems to have made some changes, as I get a new error message when I attempt to link accounts now and I did receive a couple of prompts to provide answers to my personal verification questions. However, I'm not getting those prompts anymore and the error just indicates that my login credentials are incorrect (I've confirmed repeatedly that they are not), so the integration is still broken. Any updates, Mint?
This can happen with any bank! Mint , people will stop using your service if you don't resolve this issue

my user name and password work, but then it asks a security question and i enter what i know for sure is the answer and it won't go any further. still can't use MINT. its been forever since i have been able to use what is normally an awesome app
mine is now linked but all the transactions show up at cheque and not the actual merchant
A few minutes ago I was able to sign into RBC USA and download recent transactions. Unfortunately I have three accounts which are now duplicates. I guess I will wait a while before deleting the old accounts. Does anyone know how to combine accounts so I won't lose the older transactions?
I still cannot link my MINT to my RBC USA account. Is this ever going to get fixed?
I spoke too soon, I cannot connect today, I am joining those who think that either Mint or RBC is too slow to get this fixed. By the way I am also a Quicken for Mac user and I have been having similar problems with the same accounts.
@rgolke and @cmiredale, your accounts are returning an error which indicates that RBC Bank - USA needs you to take some action on their website before Mint can access your account. This is usually an important message from your bank that you need to acknowledge. The prompt I'm seeing is about RBC requiring web banking customers to sign up for their new security feature.
@Florida Investor, to fix the error on your account, please follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings>Financial and locate your RBC Bank - USA account.
2. Click the Gear icon and select "EDIT PASSWORD".
3. Complete the steps to re-enter your credentials.
If the issue persists, please contact us via email or chat so we can investigate further: https://help.mint.com/
@plugz15 , if you're still experiencing this issue, please contact Mint Customer Support via email or chat so we can take a closer look at your account: https://help.mint.com/
Not sure if Shelane's last comment was only aimed at plugz15 or in general, but contacted Mint support today and they immediately told me to wait for a general fix without looking into my own account.
Also not sure how helpful a financial organization software is that cannot get access to your financial information :/
any news on resolving the screen scraping issue with RBC bank? I still get the 'hmm, something went wrong' error.
tired of waiting for this issue to be fixed. Switched to Buxfer... works fine with RBC USA account.
I may have to switch as well
