HealthEquity account (recently changed from Investment account to Cash in Mint) can no longer have Investment-categorized transactions
I have a HealthEquity HSA account that recently underwent a change in Mint. My existing account -- an Investment account -- appears to have closed and in its a place a new one was opened that now appears as a Cash account. I saw the full balance of the account go to the new one as a "Balance Forward".
The problem is that my contributions to that account which I've been categorizing as Investments > HSA Contribution can no longer be categorized as such. Perhaps because Investments (and its sub-categories) are not valid for Cash accounts? I'm not sure. They initially get marked as Taxes and I always have to re-classify them. Any ideas how I should proceed? Should I re-categorize these transactions as something else? I've always been a little unclear how to categorize these contributions anyway since they're pre-tax and a combo of a benefit from my employer and pre-tax deductions that I take
